Build Your October Poker Study Plan From the September 2026 Course Update

A useful poker study month should have one primary target.
Not “get better at poker.”
Not “watch more videos.”
Not “run more solver trees.”
One target that you can recognize in your own hands.
The September 2026 Elite Poker Guide update makes it possible to build that kind of focused October plan because its nine new titles fall into clear categories.
### Week 1: Diagnose the Leak
Review your last ten sessions and classify the most expensive repeated problem.
Examples:
• Deep-stack live pots become guesswork after the turn.
• You know theory but fail to exploit obvious live tendencies.
• You tighten up too much near an MTT bubble.
• Final-table pay jumps distort your decisions.
• You do not have a reliable way to verify ICM spots.
• You are stuck at NL25.
• You play GGPoker but have no population model.
• River bluff-catches are inconsistent.
Choose only one.
### Week 2: Match the Leak to One Primary Resource
If your problem is deep-stack live cash, Garrett Adelstein’s Destroy Live Cash is the most complete September option.
The course contains 50 real streamed hands, 87 videos and more than 35 hours of material. Thirty-five hands receive dedicated PioSOLVER audits, and the extras include more than 1,000 deep-stack preflop charts.
If you need a smaller time commitment, Rapid Fire Poker studies 10 streamed hands in roughly two hours and ten minutes. It is designed around exploit logic rather than solver review.
If your problem appears in live tournaments, use the GTO Lab WSOP Bootcamp. The five-day, 19-video, 82 GB program covers profiling, multiway pots, bubble anxiety, emotional control, exploits and final-table ICM.
If your leak is “I cannot verify my own ICM or preflop decisions,” use HoldemResources Pro 4.1 as the technical layer.
Spanish-speaking cash players can use the Descartes Póker ladder:
Revienta NL25 → Masters → Gran Master, with GG Poker and BluffCatching System as specialist add-ons.
### Week 3: Convert Lessons Into Decisions
After every lesson, write five lines:
1. What was the decision?
2. What was the baseline?
3. What assumption mattered most?
4. What do I currently do wrong?
5. Where will I apply this in my next session?
Then review your own hands for examples of the same decision family.
A course becomes valuable when it changes the way you review your own game.
### Week 4: Test, Review and Compress
Play with one deliberate focus.
Do not attempt to remember an entire course during a session.
If you are studying deep-stack live cash, your focus may be identifying which turns allow large pressure without over-bluffing.
If you are studying MTT bubbles, your focus may be separating fear from actual ICM pressure.
If you are studying NL25 population tendencies, your focus may be identifying the specific pool leak that justifies the exploit.
At the end of the month, compress the lessons into one page. Keep principles, remove commentary.
### Use the Free Samples
Every title page in the September update includes a free sample.
Use it.
Teaching style matters. Pace matters. Depth matters. A strong reputation does not automatically mean the material fits the way you learn.
The training course releases use a one-time FOREVER LICENSE, so access does not expire after a subscription period. HRC Pro is different: it is software supplied on a 1-year license with updates.

October does not need nine new study goals. It needs one course, one measurable leak and one month of deliberate application.
