Build a 30-Day Poker Study Plan From the Upswing Poker Catalog

The biggest advantage of a large training library is choice.
The biggest danger is also choice.
Elite Poker Guide’s current Upswing Poker catalog contains 55 products, 33 collections, 11,444 files and 903 GB of material. It covers all three generations of the Poker Lab, cash games, tournaments, PLO, heads-up and specialist formats.
Instead of browsing randomly, turn the catalog into a 30-day plan.
## Week 1 — Diagnose Before You Watch
Start with your database, recent hand histories or session notes.
Choose one decision family that repeatedly creates uncertainty.
Examples:
• defending the big blind
• 3-bet pots as the caller
• turn barreling
• river bluff-catching
• 20–40BB tournament play
• final-table ICM
• PLO single-raised pots
• live-cash value sizing
• heads-up adaptation
Do not write “get better at poker.”
Write a question you can test.
## Week 2 — Match the Course to the Problem
Now use the Upswing catalog.
For a broad NLHE foundation, choose a Poker Lab path.
For online cash, use a cash track, The Poker Blueprint or another course aligned with the stakes and environment you actually play.
For live cash, consider the Live Cash track or Smash Live Cash.
For tournaments, choose between broad MTT systems and more specific material such as ICM work.
For PLO, pick the stage that matches your current foundation: launch-pad material, broader PLO systems or advanced/tournament content.
For heads-up, use specialist programs only if heads-up is a real part of your game or a deliberate training objective.
## Week 3 — Convert Lessons Into Hand Tags
This is where most course consumption fails.
After each lesson, write one short note:
1. What decision was being taught?
2. What assumption drives the strategy?
3. Which hands from my own play match this spot?
4. What mistake do I expect to make less often?
Then tag real hands.
A course becomes useful when it changes your review process.
## Week 4 — Apply, Review, Compress
Play with one deliberate focus.
Do not try to carry ten new ideas into a session.
At the end of the week, review the tagged hands and compress the study block into a one-page summary.
Keep:
• the principle
• the trigger
• the common mistake
• the adjustment
• one or two example hands
Remove the rest.
This gives you a durable personal playbook.
## Why FOREVER LICENSE Helps This Process
Poker concepts often become clearer after you have more experience.
A river lesson that felt abstract today may become extremely relevant after a month of hands. A tournament course can look different after your next final table. A PLO module can make more sense after your own database contains enough comparable spots.
That is why repeat access has learning value.
Every listed Upswing course in the Elite Poker Guide catalog is offered with a one-time FOREVER LICENSE.
The goal is not to race through the library.
It is to return to the right material at the right stage of your development.
